Reporting to:Operations/Supply PlannerJob De****ionCore Responsibilities ● Translates projected forecasts, incoming volume, and work scopes into a production plan with a time-phased build schedule. ● Establishes key performance indicators of master plan accuracy. ● Ensures the inter**** with a firm’s functional managers, and tracks and maintains the forecast through timely and accurate feedback. ● Assembles master schedule report that encompasses performance against the business plan, shipment plan, inventory plan, and production plan. ● Identifies current planned level of demand and creates tactical production plans to meet the identified customer demand. ● Calculates production lead times. ● Manages load leveling and bottleneck scheduling and utilizes the Theory Of Constraints (TOC) for more accurate scheduling. ● Analyzes production floor status through input/output control reporting. ● Maintains planning parameters in ERP and planning systems. ● Works with customer service to provide appropriate delivery dates, and with Material Planners to convert the supply plan into a master production. ● Schedules supply based on the product mix and provides accurate commitment dates to the customer service team across multiple product lines. ● Provides input to the Finance team on operating plans for the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process, concerning incoming volume and capacity. ● Manages Materials Resource Planning (MRP) exception messages on a daily basis. ● Works with local execution, local Planning & Fulfillment (P&F) Manager, and regional execution organization P&F Manager to resolve issues. ● Provides input into S&OP and short-term planning processes. ● Identifies issues that cannot be resolved locally. ● Provides feedback regarding the feasibility of the plan. ● Engages in capacity management during S&OP, master scheduling, materials requirements planning, and production activity control.License to Operate / Core Values ● Demonstrates ABB’s core values and group safety and integrity standards and acts accordingly. ● Implements and ensures compliance with the ABB code of conduct, global and local standards, tools, policies, and processes in their assigned area. ● Ensures adherence to all relevant internal and statutory regulations and policies. ● Ensures integrity and compliance with ABB values and ethics in all activities. ● Demonstrates an understanding of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) terms, concept application, reporting, and risks.Collaboration / Leadership ● Ensures adherence to the collaboration ****ives of the team to maximize results for ABB. ● Leads their development journey by seeking knowledge and learning opportunities within the team. ● Manages relationships with stakeholders in their own area of responsibility and ensures alignment
