Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

1.Analysing customer IT protocols/specifications and check their feasibility
2. Estimating the development costs and the lead times for the implementation or modification of customer specific protocol adapters
3. Designing and developing project specific hardware and software applications
4.Developing and maintaining Application Center IT solutions like Position Recognition System, etc.
5.Supervising test & debug of equipment at supplier sites or on Workshop floor
6. Providing consulting and installation support like ToolsNet, TLS or Open Protocol etc.

Candidate profile:

Education
Bachelor or Master of Science in software, computer or electronics engineering with a strong focus on software design, alternatively a comparable degree in any other engineering or mathematical, natural science with an adequate working experience in software design and development

Experience
Object-oriented software design based on UML
APIs and the use of libraries
Client/server architectures based on UDP/TCP socket connections
Software development under Microsoft Windows and Linux
Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server Database configuration & maintenance

Knowledge
Knowledge of Motor Vehicle and/or General Industry segments are a plus Understanding and interest in customer applications
Modern software technologies, algorithms, patterns
Version Control Systems: mercurial, svnetc…

Programming language C# and C++

Fluent (spoken & written) in English & Chinese (Mandarin)
