Position SummaryThe position will be responsible for algorithm modeling, analysis, and implementation for ZEISS products, en-compassing both 2D and 3D imaging solutions, as well as related imaging technologies. This role will involve developing and optimizing algorithms for image processing, machine learning, and model deployment, sup-porting advancements in precision and reliability across the product line.RequirementsEducationMaster’s degree in math, computer science, software engineering or similarExperience- Solid experience in industry defect image recognition, lithium-ion battery preferred.- Understanding of battery manufacturing process.- Solid foundation in computer science, image processing, and computer vision- Solid knowledge and experience in traditional image processing.- Proficiency in Python.- Experience with algorithm modeling and emulation platforms- Experience training machine learning models for classification, **** detection, and segmentation- Proficiency in model performance analysis, including accuracy, precision, recall, and F1-score- Expertise in model optimization techniques (quantization, pruning, model compression)- Advanced image processing skills, including data augmentation and pre-processing techniques- Proficiency in end-to-end testing practices (unit, integration, and model performance validation)- Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving skills- Knowledge of X-ray imaging systems and principles as a plus- Experience with additional languages (e.g., C#, C++) as a plusOther skills- Proficiency in English (both spoken and written) and good communication skills- Ability to work independently yet team-oriented- Self-motivated and open-minded with high degree of responsibility- Work experience in cross-site international team is a plus Job De****ion Main Tasks- Be a solid part of the NEV application team- Responsible for the CT/Xray image algorithm modeling, analysis, and implementation- Responsible for the core technical issue solving and optimization- Responsible for the cross-site technical alignment- Work with team to build and drive the tech stack development
