Key Responsibilities
This position is responsible for providing all the analytics and support for:
•The ongoing procurement of global logistics providers/carriers
•Cost, KPI and service performance analysis of carriers, freight modes, trade lanes etc.
•Freight Bill Audit and Payment programs implementation and daily operations
•Coordinating and supporting the projects and project management processes (in region) relating to logistics, process and network changes
•Collating, consolidating and providing key performance indicator analysis across all logistics modes and carriers leading to improved visibility of Terex supply chain spend, and developing tools and methods to reduce the ongoing regional cost base
•Developing, facilitating, and leading activities focused on risk reduction within the Logistics supply chain
•Conducting carrier/provider assessments, developing supply chain risk profiles, identifying opportunities for carrier/provider improvements based on analysis of supplier management systems and performance data, and on-site supplier development efforts as deemed necessary;
•Conducting audits of and directly supporting the Logistics qualification process for Terex nominated carriers/providers;
•Providing logistics KPI templates that capture performance and cost drivers across all modes/trade lanes
•Ensure accuracy of Logistics reporting;
•Coordinating & facilitating all individual project actions across major logistics projects with all project team members and stakeholders involved.
•Ensure internal project plans are consistently aligned with Logistics partners action plans, timelines and deliverables.
•Identifying best practices in managing contingencies.
•Creating training modules and improvement plans for logistics operations teams.
•Provide regional Logistics Support for the Strategic Sourcing transformation program
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in engineering or supply chain, preferable but not essential
Experience:
•Successful track record of developing and driving efficiency, preferably in a supply chain/freight management/logistics environment
•Proven Analytics background within a logistics, inventory or business planning environment
•Proven success managing direct and/or indirect teams across multiple functions/geographies.
•History of change management
•Systems familiarity and experience using technology to drive optimization
•The ability to work independently and within a team across functions and geographies
•Experience working within a global organization and matrix structure
•Effective interpersonal communication and presentation skills.
•Continuous Improvement experience – Lean certification a plus.
•Procurement, Negotiation and Financial analytic skills
•Proficient in MS Office
•Mandarin language skills a plus
