Relationship:
Reporting to: Manufacturing Engineering Manager

General Description:
Research and develop manufacturing especially for welding, improve and service the production line, establish the manufacturing engineering standard to get new products SOP, improve product quality and production effectiveness, reduce the production cost.

Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities:
Research the new welding processes, machines, tools to finish the new product development.
Design new production line for welding.
Adjust and modify existing production lines.
Improve the production effectiveness, product quality improving, cost reduction.
Design and apply new process, new fixture, new tool, new material and new machine for welding.
Solve technology problem.
Solve quality problem.
Design welding process for the new production line.
Optimize operating flow and material flow.
Train and instruct operators.
Establish manufacturing engineering standard and maintain them.
Collect and document the database of manufacturing, including machine, cutting tools’ specification and parameters. And update them.
Interface with assembly line and other function departments to finish work.
Provide the technology spec to Purchasing Dept. to finish the purchasing of machines and materials.
Solve the problems regarding to employee’s safety, health and environment.
Assist the facility and maintenance departments to keep the machines running well.

Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor Degree in Mechanical/Engineering or above is must.
+5 years’ experience in manufacturing engineering.
Familiar with PFMEA, APQP and SPC tools.
Experience with automobile parts manufacturing and assembling.
Familiar with computer skill.
Experience with manufacturing software tools (CAD/CAM, Pro-E etc.)
Welding technology experience is preferred.
Good English communication and writing skill.
