Position: Sr. Financial Analyst
Report to: Commercial Controller, APAC



Objective of job:
· Produce monthly GEC financial deck based on by-sector (FGA vs. CG) variance analyses prepared by target reporting team
· Prepare quarterly regional performance summary for Corporate Earnings Release purpose; prepare financial supplemental package for APAC region to support the Investors’ Relation Team’s call with analysts; coordinate with Product Team, Marketing Team and Countries to gather story lines for the presentation.
· Take lead on monthly APAC volume and inventory reporting; maintain consolidated wholesale volumes (by entity and product) to reconcile with HFM; maintain retail volumes by entity and product; reconcile retail and wholesale volume with Supply Chain Management (SCM) record.
· Review/validate submissions from countries and SCM and consolidate GEC commercial deck (industry outlook, wholesale and retail volume tracking, market share development, inventory tracking)
· Other ad-hoc analysis tasks

Qualifications:




Experience and Education
· Bachelor degree or above (Major in accounting or finance)
· Strong experience in financial anslysis area, prefer >3 years FP&A experience in a MNC (trading company)
· Qualified or unqualified CICPA / other international accounting qualification holder
General Skills
· Big picture driven yet detail oriented;
· Good written and spoken English;
· Strong communication skills




Functionality Skills and Technical skills
· Good written English to be able to articulate the business outlook in a clear and concise way;
· Strong Excel and Powerpoint skills;
· Excellent communication and presentation skills in English;
· Be familiar with NSC/GD business model and business flow to be able to provide meaningful variance commentary for senior management’s review and identify issues in volume/profit reporting;
Mgt and Leadership Skills
· Excellent organization and management skills to liaison with countries and headquarters;
· Excellent problem-solving skills and willing to take ownership
Personal Traits
· Good team player with cheerful and proactive attitudes;
· Be positive under pressure to deal with different countries and people in different time zone;
· Have a “can-do” mentality
