Introduction

For our Corporate Technology (CT) in Beijing, Siemens is looking for a Research Scientist in Automation at the earliest opportunity.

What are my responsibilities?

-Innovation in automation and control technology field;
-Develop mobile and cloud software for automation applications;
-Condition monitoring and diagnosis for production machines;


What do I need to qualify for this job?

-Master+ degree in Automation, CS, or EE, PhD preferred;
-Good record in software development in C++/Java, for mobile and cloud platforms;
-Experience in CNC or machine automation would be an advantage;
-Good knowledge of Factory Automation or Process Automation technology, and their applications;
-Experience in developing automation solutions by modeling, simulation, control, and optimization, e.g., PLM, PLC, DCS, HMI;
-Open to challenges in a new subject domain, and quickly to learn; Good at solving complex and challenging problems;
-Fluent in English, both in speaking and writing.
