Headquartered in Shanghai, HSBC Life Insurance Company Limited was established in August 2009. It is a 50-50 joint venture between HSBC Insurance (Asia) Limited and The National Trust Ltd. With a registered capital of RMB1025 million, the Company serves affluent and high-net-worth customers in Shanghai and Beijing through HSBC and Hang Seng bank's distribution channels. The Company offers comprehensive insurance services covering protection, retirement, children’s education, legacy planning and wealth growth to individuals and families.

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join this team in the role of Manager, Distribution Development, HSBC Life Insurance.

In this role, you will:
- Management and execution of business growth initiatives and activities to deliver against the objectives and ambitions of INSH distribution strategy and plan
- Formulating and implementing promotion activities and campaigns to support the achievement of revenue growth targets for INSH
- Implementing campaigns globally, working with Global other teams to ensure that the HSBC brand is promoted in a cohesive and consistent way, using the agreed campaign assets and supporting materials produced
- Driving customer acquisition in key segments, building the HSBC Insurance brand presence and supporting the local activation of campaigns and events
- Collaborating with key internal stakeholders and effectively managing agency and supplier relationships to maximise service delivery

Qualifications
To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:
- Over 10 years related working experience in Insurance, especially bancassurance business development area with strong business acumen
- Excellent communication, project management and problem-solving skills
- Hands-on experience in planning and organizing sales related activities including products promotion, customer events, new proposition launch etc
- Must be able to proactively implement activities independently
- Deep understanding of life insurance products and customer needs and with experience to develop related sales tools.
- Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese
- Must be a team player
- Open-minded, creative and self-driven
